Leaf No Trace redefines event sustainability

For years the event industry has relied on disposable materials that are only used for minutes, but remain on the planet for centuries. Leaf No Trace proposes a profound change.

Leaf No Trace produces its plates without cutting down trees, without chemicals, without plastic coatings, and without toxic substances. The leaves are cleaned with water, sewn together with natural bamboo fibers, and molded with heat, taking advantage of natural properties to make them resistant to water and oil. After use, they can return to earth and decompose in as little as 4 to 6 weeks.

In addition to being environmentally-conscious, these plates have a real social impact. Leaf No Trace generates fair wage employment opportunities for women in rural communities in Nepal, strengthening local economies and preserving ancestral knowledge, while also bringing natural materials to contemporary events around the world.

The use of Leaf No Trace at international events proves that sustainability is not a passing trend, but a new way of understanding event experiences: attendees prefer less waste, more awareness, and corporate decisions aligned with the future we want to build.

With each event, we have an opportunity to make better choices.
